RedBubble
ZazzleI have returned with a bit of an update which I think must be heard about the subject of my previous post.
Lets talk about Wash & Wear and the quality these prints have upheld.
First up, Red Bubble: This is the reprint of said design, and I tell ya I've washed it at least
15 times in
warm,
cold, and really it hasn't strayed from its original condition. I will say there is a little amount of wear of the print, but this could be from my seat belt in the car. As I said I have since changed this particular design so her kimono area is "cut out" and will reflect whatever the colour of the tee is, which will also produce a very nice quality print given them minimal colours. The detail has held up quite nicely, which has always impressed me with The Bub.
NOW, Zazzle... this has been washed only
2 times both times in
cold water only, inside out and hung up to dry (on a coathanger) in the shade, and so on. As you can see it looks f*cked. Refresh your mind with how it used to look (post below) and now..... hideous! I have had this same trouble with (a gumball sushi tee) ONE wash (
in warm) and Zazzle replaced my tee. I have since washed (
in cold) this replacement once, and it did fade but not as bad.
I'm expecting it to later.
Zazzle does NOT include any care instructions whatsoever with their tees, so I'm really finding hard to believe that for a design that's printed so fantastically initially, deteriorates so much without basically them being aware of this problem. Then thinking the "fix" is to throw another tee at someone, which will do the same thing - FADE
The Verdict - Buy Red Bubble tees!
Please note, these images have been scanned only. They have not been changed in anyway from the original image in regards to colour, etc..... only the size. The ripples in the tee are caused by pressure on top of it from the scanner, to achieve the best possible and true image.j
